Bills Reminder

Add your bills (or recurring bills) like phone, mobile, internet, credit card bill, etc. and the app will remind you to pay on time. An entry is added automatically into the expenses section for a bill when marked paid.

  • Bill section is for bills (or recurring bills) which we pay like phone bill, internet bill, credit card bill etc, and app reminds for these bills to pay on time.
  • Expenses section is to record our daily expenses into app like food groceries, shopping etc.
  • App shows interactive reports on the basis of this expenses data.
  • An entry is added automatically to expenses section for bills when marked paid.

  • Go to Dashboard > Bills.
  • Tap on + icon and it will open Add Bill screen
  • Select category (Add using + icon, if not available already).
  • Select service provider
  • Enter title.
  • Enter due amount.
  • Enter bill due date.
  • Select reminder time for this bill.
  • Reminder 1 day before (It start reminding 1 day before your bill due date).
  • Reminder 2 days before (It start reminding 2 days before your bill due date).
  • Provide notes if any
  • Tap on done icon on top right corner and you are done.
  • Follow the steps to add a bill.
  • Tap on recurring icon and choose repeat frequency.
  • If desired frequency not in list, select custom option to set it as per your need.
  • Tap on done icon on top right corner and save the bill.

  • Select custom option from the given recurring options list.
  • Recurring popup will appear
  • Select repeating frequency for a day or a week or year, as per your need.
  • Select when this recurrence ends from below options:
  • Never : Never end this bill.
  • On : End this bill on a particular date.
  • After : After a fixed number of occurrences.
  • Tap on done icon on top right corner and save the bill.
  • Go to Dashboard > Bills.
  • Tap on the bill to be marked as PAID from OVERDUE or UPCOMING tab.
  • Bill detail screen will appear.
  • Tap on Mark Paid icon.
  • Payment screen will appear.
  • Enter your payment date and amount.
  • Select from Account (from which payment is being made).
  • Check if you are adding a full payment or partial payment.
  • Check if you want to create an expense entry for this bill being marked paid.

  • Go to Dashboard > Bills.
  • Tap on the bill to be marked as PAID from OVERDUE or UPCOMING tab.
  • Bill detail screen will appear.
  • Tap on 'Mark Paid' icon.
  • Payment screen will appear.
  • Select the from account (Account from which bill payment is being made).
  • Add your payment date.
  • Unselect the checkbox 'Mark as full payment'.
  • This will show a Partial payment confirmation.
  • Confirm the partial payment as YES.
  • Check if you want to create an expense entry for this bill.
  • Tap on done icon on top right corner and bill will be marked as partially paid.
  • Yes, However it is available for few of the popular service providers as of now.
  • If payment gateway for service provider is available with TimelyBills app, a ‘Pay’ button will appear on Bill details screen, which will take you to the service provider payment gateway screen.

  • This could be due to data issue created during backup or if latest version of app is not installed on your device.
  • Please connect with support team at support@timelybills.appfor any such discrepancy.
  • Go to Dashboard > Settings > Bills > All bills:Show title.
  • If payment gateway for service provider is available with TimelyBills app, a ‘Pay’ button will appear on Bill details screen, which will take you to the service provider payment gateway screen.

  • Yes, app allows to set start day of month which could be your payday or any other day as per your choice.
  • Go to home screen, tap the month name on top of screen which opens up a calendar.
  • Select the month start day from the calendar.
  • Now app will show bill and expenses stats as per your start day of the month.
